Geothermal Power for Data Centers

Cloud Computing & Long Term Electronic Storage Facilities

Data Centers are among the most energy-intensive structures that are built and are open 24 hours per day. Per the U.S. Energy Information Administration, about 7% of total commercial electric energy consumption is consumed by data centers. This number is only going to go up. By 2020, it is estimated that consumption will increase to 140 billion kilowatt-hours, costing about $13 billion in power bills.

Our goal is to provide resilient, co-located power our data center partners so they can focus on supporting their customers' most critical asset, information.

TEP's geothermal solution can provide a scaleable, renewable, resilient and base-load power source to large data centers that want green, base-load, renewable power.

Our facility, design and construction projects include renewable energy initiatives to help meet a data centers' energy security goals. We plan, permit, design, build, and operation sophisticated geothermal power plants to produce a renewable base-load power source 24/7, 365 days per year.

TEP operates under Power Purchase Agreements, which evolve into long-term alliances and partnerships with our clients. By leveraging our own private capital combined with insurance coverage, TEP offers a simplified project delivery model to deliver cost savings and reduce risk.
