This person will be directly responsible for the operation and maintenance of the geothermal distribution systems. The basic function will be management of the involved personnel, annual budgets, maintenance activities, short and long term capital improvement planning, scheduling of equipment operations and systems operations monitoring. 

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

This position requires knowledge and experience in the field of thermal water production and distribution systems operation with demonstrated supervisory abilities. This position requires demonstrated leadership skills as well as budgeting and administration abilities. It requires the ability to develop and implement short and long range capital improvement plans. A degree in electrical or mechanical technology with five years of relevant experience is required or an equivalent combination of advanced technical education and eight years of relevant work experience is required. The following are also required: demonstrated electrical and mechanical aptitude; ability to read and understand O&M manuals, blueprints, electrical diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams; ability to continuously stand and walk with some ladder climbing and lifting of materials weighing 50 pounds; ability to work and operate equipment in unpleasant working conditions. Some exposure to severe weather and unpleasant surroundings with an element of personal risk should be expected.

 

An EPA Universal Refrigerant license and valid driver’s license is required.

 

Ability and willingness to be on-call for a 24/7 operation.
